Autologous growth factor enhanced implant
Dr. Duong is a certified Phlebotomist since 1991 and has been using and applying autologous Growth Factor(Platelets Rich factor and Autologous Fibrin Glue in routine Oral surgery and Implant Dentistry since 2009 in his practice. Autologous growth factor procedure is an advanced technique that utilizes the body’s natural healing properties to improve and accelerate soft tissue healing, promote rapid tissue vacularization, and reduce tissue swelling. By using growth factors from the patient’s own blood to accelerate soft tissue healing, it protects and promotes bone healing.
Benefits:
-
Enhanced Healing: Reduces recovery time by stimulating natural tissue repair.
-
Reduce Implant healing and failure complication: promote soft tissue healing to protect bone healing integration
-
Minimally Invasive: Uses the patient’s own biological material, minimizing complications.
-
Reduced Inflammation & Pain: Encourages faster healing with fewer post-surgical issues.
-
Natural & Safe: Eliminates risks associated inflamation with synthetic grafts or foreign materials.
Autologous Growth Factor Enhanced Implant Dentistry provides numerous advantages that improve both the short-term healing process and the long-term success of dental implants. This technique enhances the body’s natural ability to regenerate tissue, leading to stronger bone integration, faster recovery, and reduced risk of complications. Patients benefit from improved comfort, minimal post-surgical pain, and a lower likelihood of infection. By using the patient's own biological material, the procedure eliminates risks associated with synthetic grafts, ensuring a safer and more effective dental restoration experience.
Process:
-
Consultation & Assessment: Evaluate oral health and suitability for the procedure.
-
Blood Sample Collection: A small amount of the patient’s blood is drawn.
-
Processing Growth Factors: The blood is processed using a centrifuge to concentrate platelets and growth factors.
-
Implant Placement: The dental implant is surgically inserted into the jawbone.
-
Application of Growth Factors: The concentrated growth factors are applied to the implant site to promote healing.
